About In-Book
A book is neither paper nor Web; a book is its content.
InBook is a platform for content to be expanded and developed, from vehicle for booktrailers to social networking.
In addition to putting existing writers’ work in the spotlight, booktrailers support up-and-coming writers’ work,
facilitating communication with the author, offering a choice of work to read, updates on planned events and the
chance to register comments and appreciation.
It is a place where the writer and different cultural contexts are brought together, such as the bookshop, or other
environment interested in hosting events linked to publishing; a place where opportunity for networking is created
and where the pen and its traditional methods of communication evolve together. It is a modular project that can
easily be adapted to embrace theatre or online gaming, for example.
It provides a meeting point for writers and professionals from the industry (editors, illustrators, proof readers etc) as
well as additional services such as manuscript evaluations.
InBook wants to offer an enormous “brainstorming” opportunity (from reading groups to new business opportunities)
and bring the digital world into reality.

Why register?
If you are a writer...
...you can upload video and descriptions of your books, links to your blog, to online purchasing sites, you can be contacted by your readers or by professional publishers, promote yourself or be contacted by bookshops or others where you might be able to present yourself. You can find out about forthcoming events of interest.
If you are an up-and-coming writer...
...you can have the chance to be contacted by professional publishers, to better understand the needs of your readers or to receive suggestions from accomplished writers. You can promote your work with video, provide a blurb or experiment and create something new with others.
If you are a reader...
...you can create reading groups to suggest new works, create events to meet and discuss the latest read over a cup of coffee, or relate your story to a writer or group of writers in search of new ideas. Choose books with no worry about crowded bookshops or even discover an entirely new bookshop you never even knew existed and visit it when there’s a presentation. You can offer comments and express your appreciation.
If you are a professional...
...in any field (editor, proof reader, illustrator, distributor, association…) Promote yourself in the Home Page area, request new services, meet other professionals and create new working partnerships/collaborations, network, gain a more detailed understanding of the real needs of the reader, even creating new opportunities drawing upon the passion of those experimenting with new web solutions.
